Dipl. Eng. Ivan Ivanov Chairman, Bulgarian Water Association

Dipl. Eng. Ivan Ivanov is Chairman of the Management Board of the Bulgarian Water Association since 2012. He is Chairman of the Board of the Foundation " European Benchmarking Cooperation" (EBC Foundation) for 2018.

He is Managing Director of Industrial Cluster Underground Infrastructure (ICPI). He is a member of the Management Board of the European Federation of National Associations of Water Services (EurEau). He is a representative of the Bulgarian Industrial Capital Association (AICB) in the Monitoring Committee of the Operational Program "Environment 2014-2020".

He graduated from the French High School in Sofia and the University of Chemical Technology and metallurgy. He holds a Master's degree in Business Administration from the Francophone Institute of Administration and Management (IFAG) in the capital and from the American University in Bulgaria (AUBG). Specializes in the Higher National Institute for Chemical Technologies (ENSIGC) in Toulouse, France.

He has been employed in the water sector and the water and sewerage industry since 1999. He works for 11 years at Sofiyska Voda AD, where he holds the post of chief secretary and procurator.
